I am currently the Supervisor of Educational Technology and Related Arts for the Lawrence Township Public Schools in Lawrenceville, NJ. I am also a doctoral candidate in the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership program at Wilmington University.
Previously, I spent six years as a school psychologist and eight years as a high school English teacher. I have also held part-time positions teaching in the teacher certification program at Delaware Valley College, as a professional development consultant for the NJEA, and as an item writer for the Test of English for International Communication at ETS.
I have long sought to infuse technology into my professional practice to provide students with authentic learning experiences. My interest in educational technology has taken me from experimentation in my own classroom to blogging about my experiences and facilitating presentations and workshops at local, regional, state, and national levels.
Outside work, I enjoy running, reading, and fitness. I have been a musician for over 25 years, and I enjoy discovering new artists on a regular basis. I support Newcastle United FC, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Philadelphia Union, but most of all, I am a fan of my wife Stephanie and our two children, Dylan and Kiera.
