I am currently a school psychologist at Lawrence Intermediate School in Lawrenceville, NJ. I also spend time as a professional development consultant for the NJEA and a doctoral student in Educational Leadership at Wilmington University.
Prior to these positions, I was a school psychologist and English teacher at the secondary level, and have since taught in the teacher certification program at Delaware Valley College.
My primary interests as a school psychologist include behavior analysis & support and exploring assistive/educational technology and the roles that the Internet and Web 2.0 can play therein. My interest in educational technology has taken me from experimentation in my own classroom to blogging about my experiences and facilitating presentations and workshops at local, regional, state, and national levels.
I am a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP), which means I have met the stringent training standards set forth by the National Association of School Psychologists. For samples of my work in this field, please visit my portfolio.
Outside work, I enjoy running, reading, and fitness. I have been a musician for 25 years, and I enjoy discovering new artists on a regular basis. I support Newcastle United FC, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the Philadelphia Union, but most of all, I am a fan of my wife Stephanie and our two children, Dylan and Kiera.
